This Privacy Policy covers and describes how Vendor Team Services (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) collects, uses and disclosure of information we collect through our website www.vendorteam servies.com. It also describes the choices available to you regarding the use of, your access to, and how to update and correct your personal information. The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged Vendor Team Services.

EU-U.S. PRIVACY SHIELD AND SWISS-US PRIVACY SHIELD

Vendor Team Services participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Vendor Team Services is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries and Switzerland, respectively, in reliance on each Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. Vendor Team Services is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Vendor Team Services complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

 

With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Vendor Team Services is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, Retail Solutions may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

 

If you have an unresolved privacy or data use concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily, please contact our U.S.-based third party dispute resolution provider (free of charge) at https://feedback-form.truste.com/watchdog/request.

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website [https://www.privacyshield.gov/article?id=How-to-Submit-a-Complaint], you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

The following section describes the information we collect from you and indicates why we collect each type of information from you. We collect two types of information. We will post on our website’s home page a notice or a link to a notice that will describe how we will amend our privacy statement prior to the change becoming effective. If you do not agree to our amended privacy statement, you may contact us as described in this privacy statement and we will allow you to opt out of the proposed amendments to our privacy statement with respect to the information that we have previously collected from you.

 

“Change in control” means any of the following events:

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from Vendor Team Services at the point where we request information about the user. Users of our website may request that we remove their information from our database or not distribute future correspondence by:

TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Vendor Team Services and our partners, marketing partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers such as hosting providers use cookies or similar technologies. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

Upon request Vendor Team Services will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal information. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may update or delete it by making the change on our member information page or by emailing info@vendorteamservices.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

 

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS/COMMENTS/REVIEWS

We post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. To request removal of your personal information from Testimonials or comments please contact us at  info@vendorteamservices.com.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. INFORMATION RELATED TO DATA COLLECTED THROUGH THE RSI PORTAL

Vendor Team Services collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.

CHOICE

We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly.

SERVICE PROVIDER, SUB-PROCESSORS/ONWARD TRANSFER

Vendor Team Services may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.

ACCESS TO DATA CONTROLLED BY OUR CLIENTS

Vendor Team Services has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to the Vendor Team Services Client (the data controller). If the Client requests Vendor Team Services to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.

DATA RETENTION

Vendor Team Services will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. Vendor Team Services will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
