Description

  • Builds and Maintain weekly reports (MicroStrategy) to communicate directly with all team members and other applicable support groups.
  • Utilize tools to assist sales team in forecasting and replenishment and product specific analytics.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Generate and analyze data concerning assigned item performance and provides recommendations to sales and forecasting team members.
  • Update Merchandising costing systems for Big Box Retailer
  • Collect, Run, and present data pertaining to sales, inventory, margin, ROI, etc.
  • Update monthly compliance reports.
  • Communicate PO (purchase order) adjustments to Inventory teams as needed.
  • General understanding of in-stock, fill rates and other related inventory metrics.
  • Ability to review store service data and communicate as needed to requestors.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work multiple projects as assigned.
  • This individual should have an understanding of retail as related to Merchandising, Logistics, and Assortment Planning.
  • This person must work well in a team environment.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics/Mathematic, Supply Chain or other quantitative fields of discipline.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests/projects and manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, but telecommunicate as needed.
  • Comfortable communicating with associates speaking Mandarin is a plus
  • Comfortable communicating with associates speaking Spanish is a plus
  • Must have advanced skillset and experience in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc), Access and PowerPoint

  • Identifying/assessing areas of improvement and recommending corrective measures to upper management to mitigate losses.
  • Implementing / maintaining systems, policies / procedures as per organizational goals / objectives.
  • Designing reports, managing revenue projections and liaising with appropriate personnel to analyze needs, tracking budgetary versus actual performance and devising methods to negate deviation.
  • Tracks delivery performance and identifies and resolves potential production delays and delivery problems.
